Our History

OUR HISTORY

MTVarts came about in 2007 as a communication tool and currently provides Web site support, production, and management assistance for the performing arts.  Past funding has been exclusively through corporate support.  MTVarts Inc has been granted Public Charity Status 509 (a) (2) and is tax exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS.  Your contributions to MTVarts are tax deductible.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

Our goals include owning and operating a performing arts center, increasing resources for educational and instructional programs, and the continued support and promotion of the performing arts in Mount Vernon and Knox County.

DREAMS BECOME REALITY...

Because of the dedication and hard work of some very talented volunteers.

Because corporate sponsors believe in community theatre.

Because businesses purchase advertising.

Because individuals donate.

Because people buy tickets and come see our shows.

When you believe!
